Long story short

The last weeks have been very intense - we introduced a new design for our webpages, a new icon for WorldView and WorldView Live, released WorldView Live 1.1.0 and yesterday WorldView Live 1.2.0!

But lets tell the story a little bit longer. The website has been in a kinda semi finished state from the beginning, and ever since then we worked on a new design whenever we needed a break from coding on WorldView and clearing our head somewhat. And in the same silence we worked on it we released it 2 weeks ago. For the few people stopping by in here, we hope they appreciate it! There will be some more work being done on integrating the support forums for WorldView into our own website also within the next 2 weeks....

WorldView and WorldView Live got a bugfix update last week, which hopefully solve most of the issues you might experience. If not, we would love to hear from you to fix them for you!

What a week for WorldView this is. On late monday night it was finally available in the AppStore after months of development and now, nearly 5 days after launch, WorldView has reached number 1 in the german iTunes AppStore!

What can I say!? We are not only impressed - we are thrilled! I never believed you guys would enjoy this app so much and you actually do. This is making my weekend so wonderful and giving me more energy on completing the "Live Edition" as soon as possible....

I still have a vivid memory of that day in early spring this year. Andy, energetic as always and driven by passion, introduced me to his favorite toys - an iPhone and a brand new iPod touch. You have to know that he is a very influential person - he was the guy who brought me to blogging - and of course my first Mac (one of the very first MacBooks) was just bought because he convinced me to do so.

Andy showed all that apps on his jailbroken devices to me and the moment I first met Locations I realized that this one is going to be Big! The one thing is, Locations was a really nice app with lots of useful features - the other thing is Andy´s vision of Locations. At this time he knew everything about webcams, websites with webcams, webservices for webcams, legal issues ...
